Flowerpot question

I have a question about a flowerpot coral that I put in my nanocube 2 days ago. It still hasn't opened. I have a 150W MH hood and all water parameters are fine. 0 ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. SG is about 1.025. I placed it on the bottom in an area with good flow. its starting to open a little but really not much at all. I seem to remember reading someplace that it may take a few days or even longer for one to open sometimes. Any advice/opinions are greatly appreciated.

Flowerpot? the Goniopora (24 tentacles each) or Alveopora (12 each) are hard to please and even more difficult to keep long term.
I have been fortunate to have been able to keep a Goniopora longterm, I can honestly say it requires attention to detail. I would say that the "trick" is alternating current and placement below the waterline (5"+ for a nano). Avoid direct flow from a powerhead, try to place indirectly between powerheads- the placement is easy......the sweet spot is the most important part of the survival of either of the flowerpot's. Here's mine.....TinMan

These corals from my experience can take up to two weeks to adapt to changes in water chemistry, light, and flow... then they will fully expand once acclimated to the above.
