Fluidized as Phosban reactor?

Just as the title says....can I use this with phosban just like a phosban reactor? It seems to be the same principal. If not, what can I do with it besides using it as a fluidized bed filter? I have had one laying around for years.

Without the manufacture it is hard to say. Basically you need a foam pad at the bottom, next your media, another foam pad, then filter floss at the top. Next you will need to control the flow going into the filter, almost none for phosban. Other than that it should work. Other uses for the reactor can include any canister media like carbon. Another good one that I never see people use it for is a biological filter. Fill it with live rock and transport it back and forth from the main display to a quarantine tank when in use. Just be careful not to cross contaminate the two tanks. Another option along those lines is a small refugium.

Thanks LVreefer! Its a rainbow fluidized bed filter. From your info, I think I can make it work as a phosban reactor.
