Inspired by the OP of this thread: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2184287 I decided to try my hand at fluorescence in my aquarium. First try:

Mushrooms

Lobophyllia flabelliformi

Brain coral? (Hitchiker)

Green star polyps

Great start buddy. The key to fluorescence photography is to underexpose any colors that do not fluoresce and expose the fluorescence by using an exciter light from your flash.

Thanks. Yep that is exactly what I did! Not as great as yours but still learning.

As exciter I used a blue filter gel over the speedlite, and as filter I used the yellow filter in front of the lens.
