Fluval 4 plus or power head?

Hello I am new And have my tank running 5 days now cycling added all the rocks and I am waiting I know I was told to get a powerhead But I already own a fluval 4 plus filter can I just use that> it cost me $70 and so does the powerheads?

Also I heard the water has to keep moving so I see the little things moving on top of my rocks already, My fluval 405 is powerful so it is blowing pretty well. But My question is is the water supposed to be moving on top or on the bottom with the powerhead ..top of tank ormiddle bottom is sand

Recommend any good cleaners? I heard shrimp,starfish,crabs.hermit. anyone ?and how soon all my readings are zero now except ph

Last question sorry.

I read about a small tank under the big one (sump) I have looked for sites to see how it works and what I need but I cannnot fins any Any one canplease recomend so i can see what it does?

In a 75 you will need much more flow. You want proper flow through out the whl tank from back to botom to around rocks.Low flow takes time from months to yrs to cause uncontrolable problems and by then its never even considered. Amount of rock, placement , stocking , water source all play a part. Look here for help but dont consider your filter for any flow demands.

Well How many powerheads are needed Would that not mean the poor fish will get blown all over?.

I aslo did not mean just my fluval 405 for flow
What I said is I also have a fluval 4 plus which goes in the tank and COULD I use that as a flow also .
