Fluval Sea m48

Hi all,
I purchased a 75g sumpless established reef from a buddy. It has a fluval sea m48 over it, I read that this light only produces 46 watts, which to me seems pretty low for the tank (two rbta). I have a coralife t5ho ho fixture that a bought a year or so ago, should I run that as supplemental light until I upgrade to a better led? I also don't think the m48 is dimmable, so It might end up being too much light for my softies. If I could get some insite that would be great. Thanks

watts doesn't translate on LEDs the way it does for other lights. It's been discontinued as they are moving to the 2.0 which gives more lighting options to dial in user preferences - as opposed to simple on/off.

I can't find in online, but if you still have the box, they print the par map on the box. While it should produce sufficient light for SPS situated at the top of the tank, the softies should be fine in the middle and bottom of your tank (I have the 24 2.0 on my 29 gal and have the 1.0 producing loads of macro on my HOB fuge).

While I do think the 1.0 will be fine for a reef, upgrading to programable lights is worth it. However, know your target PAR levels first and what lights will achieve them.

My nems are hiding on the bottom of the tank, do you think i should move them up. I do not have the box, but I'll do some research and see if I can find the party rating
