The way I go is Davie Blvd West then Left on 31st and the school is at the end of that rd. It cuts the rush of 595 traffic out....

Or you can go 595 west to 441(SR7) North then right on Riverland Rd and the school is on the right about a mile down

man when i lived in LA i used to see all these guys at maslac meetings but i didnt even know who they were cuz there was such cool stuff going around. they dont get held up like celebrities there and really, they do coral, they shouldnt be.
i know ive seen steve tyree like a hundred times and seen leng sy before. my friends are his friends. if you want to see an amazing setup get dave botwin http://o2manyfish.com/ out here to show you his outdoor growing setup or his frag swaps with hundreds of people. i also have pics of carlos's http://xtremeaquatics.com/ acro tank when it was just psycho with acros branching and sticking to the glass everywhere.
but none of this stuff is special. anyone can do any of this its just a matter of doing your research and playing around till stuff works.

Yvonne Rozsenich has an AWESOME tank. i try to mimic everything she does. she raises berghia in tupperware under her couch and feeds a whole variety of foods. shes had tubastrea spawn in her tank and even had the black one thrive which eric borneman said should be impossible because youd have to feed it CONSTANTLY.

i apologise for the blurry photos, the camera was new and i didnt know how to operate it yet plus the ridiculous levels of lighting. carlos has like 3 400w 20k and a 1000w 20k over his 400gal.

I would like to attend meetings like this, but I would feel out of place. Maybe later on when I can accociate with other members and feel more comfortable... I'm sure everyone is friendly on here.

Why would you feel out of place... The feeling I get is everyone tries to make you feel welcome. My first meeting... bit shy. 2nd meeting, I'd met a couple of people, so I at least knew a few people. I think I know about half of the regular attendees now, about a year and a half later. Come on in, the more the merrier!!! At least come for the cookies and fruit punch.
