This coming Tuesday, November 27th at 7:15 pm the Florida Marine Aquarium Society will be holding our last monthly meeting of the year. This month’s topic will be Electric 101 and Advanced Plumbing. As usual we will be holding the meeting in the Library of New River Middle School (3100 Riverland Road, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33312).
After the speakers we will be holding club elections for 2008. The three elected club positions are President, Vice President, and Treasurer. The nomination committee has nominated Herman Jordan, Joe Schulman, and Dean Swade for the three positions respectively. Before elections nominations for the three positions will be taken and if nominations are received a vote will be held.
After the speakers and elections we will be holding our normal livestock auction. This will be our last auction of the year as there will be no auction at the December meeting. Please bring any frags you may have to help out!
The club will be holding a Holiday Party in place on the normal December meeting. The Holiday Party will be held on Tuesday, December 18 from 7 to 9 pm at the Davie Women’s Center located next to the Davie Town Hall (6591 Orange Dr., Davie, FL 33314). The holiday party is an informal potluck dinner. We encourage all members to bring their families to this event. Rogger is organizing the food for the party. Please email Rogger at roggercastells@hotmail.com to let him know what you will be bringing.
