Food Chopper?

So the clowns I have in QT right now are really little guys. So small that even they can't even eat the smallest pellets. Not a real problem. I've been switching between mysis and Rods food, but the chunks and mysis are too big for thier mouth. I chop the food by hand into really tiny pieces so that they can eat. Happy full fishes.

Is there any equipment that people have used to chop up frozen mysis/rods/other foods into teeny tiny pieces for little tiny fish? I'm thinking about picking up a coffee grinder to try and I was wondering if anyone has tried any other mechanized tool.

I use a blender, chopping quite a bit at a time, then spreading the emulsion on cookie sheets for freezing, breaking up the sheets and keeping that in a freezer bag.

If you have a cheese grater with a fine grate you could try rubbing some frozen stuff across that. Cheaper and easier to clean than a grinder if you only need it until they get a little bigger

hmm. maybe ill pick up some cyclops today.

I like the grater idea, I have a small garlic grater that may be perfect. In more ways than one I guess as it has been used for garlic previously!

I've got two little ones, too! I got this stuff when I bought the clowns and they seem to love it.
