Food for an Imperator

Added on saturday an imperator to my reef. Untill now everything is OK. Would like to know what food do you give to your imperator? I am giving Thera+A (from new spectrum) and brine schrimp.

Brine shrimp adds little nutritional value. You might consider mysis, clams on the half shell, veggies.

Agreed. I think NLS should be a staple and I would add some sort of Angel Formula to this list. Also, I would look to get some sort of vitamin supplement(Selcon, Zoecon, etc.) to soak the food in occasionally.

My guy found a small pipefish I put into his holding tank, quite appetising.
I wouldn't recommend this as a form of long term nutrition though!

PE mysis, ocean nutrition form 2, NLS 3mm pellets, and some nori.

every once in awhile i will throw in some blood worms too.

how big is the imperator? mine is about 4.5-5" changing juvie.

I am trying to give Nori, Vongole and pieces of shrimp. It ate not too much. seens not to be used with this kind of food. Will try again tomorrow.
