Food for lions

Can I feed selcon-enriched freeze-dried mysis shrimp, selcon-enriched freeze-dried krill, and New life spectrum 3mm pellets to a lionfish?

Only try the Mysis if it is small IMO. My Volitan is small so PE Mysis takes up a large portion of it's diet. He ignores pellets, and I only know one person who had a lion eat pellets, and that particular lion even ate flakes, so it was an oddball. :hmm5: And krill seems to be frowned upon here. :twitch:

Get the fish some decent food...freeze-dried anything just isn't a good diet for fish, and krill has been linked to lockjaw in many predatory species, especially lionfish.

Additionally, FD krill becomes addictive, and once most fish get hooked on it, it is difficult, if not impossible to get them off the stuff.

A good, varied diet of fresh or frozen seafood is the key to a healthy lionfish.
