Food for naso tang

My tank is cleaned of algae from my clean up crew.

I am just wondering where can I get macro algae for him, something like the sea lettuce or something similar.

He doesn't seem to like nori. I feed him Round Leaf Lettuce and seems to love it but I don't know if that is nutritious enough.

I also feed him frozen mysis which he seems to nibble a bit. Any other ideas are appreciated.

You should try to see what he was fed at the LFS. Mine is eating pellets like no tomorrow.

I have had it for a month. He is not eating anything but the fresh lettuce and some frozen Emerald entree for herbivors.

How do you train it to eat pellets?

tangs being herbivores in the wild need greens. Also make sure and get romaine letteuce. How do you feed the lettecue that he is eating? If you hang it, put the nori with it and let him learn. pellets hold very very little nutritional value for tangs. Get him eating his greens.

I clipped it with the nori, different kinds green, brown, red but he doesn't touch em.

After a while, it becomes a mess and I have to take it out of the tank.

I am just wondering if anyone have succefully feed their tangs macroalgae like OGO or ULVA?

I have ogo growing in my sump that all my tangs eat when I throw it into the display, including my 5" Naso.
