For Future Plans...LED question

I will at some point be setting up a new tank. I picked up Jaybefresh's custom nano rimless tank. really cool and unique looking, similar to my 100 gallon in dimension but only 12 gallons.

I want to set this up with a efficient lighting system and I would like to try LED lighting on it. I was thinking of this set-up. from Rapid LED i would get either a 12 or 24 LED dimmable kit....this is a shallow nano tank, what would be good for SPS? and a 4.25x23 inch pre drilled heat sink.

Would i need anything else? it seems to have everything i would need except a dimmable switch. also would this be overkill for this tank or not enough? these are cree optics and i would probably get 60 degree lenses.

Depending on the model and bin of LED you choose and the drive current, you likely don't need 12 LEDs much less 24. What are the dimensions of the tank?

Also, most of the bundled kits contain a poor mix of LEDs IMHO. Most are just cool white and royal blue, which looks a little washed out. Most people building these days are mixing in other colors - at the least, a few warm whites or neutral whites in place of some of the cool whites.

I'm a bit of a hike from you but if you want to swing out some time and see some LEDs in action, let me know.
