Hey Kng,
Tomoko said you might be able to help me out.I have 2 Odyssea dual 54w t-5 fixtures.I know people say Odyssea is junk but I got them both for 50$.And I like them! The problem is I unpluged the fixtures from the remote ballasts with the ballasts still on and it fried the ballasts. Its going to be hard if not impossible to get Odyssea replacement ballasts. Can the ballasts be fixed? If not I was thinking of replacing them with Workhorse ballasts but the fixtures only have 4 wires going to them.Do you know how to wire a workhorse to 4 wires that go to a dual 54w t5 fixture?

Thanks,
Buzz!

Buzz,

Sorry about the PM box, it's empty now.

Yes, the Workhorse ballast would be an easy fix. If you go to www.fulham.com, you can input what bulbs you are using. For example, I selected T5 Linear HO, then 2XF54 HO at 120 volts. It recommends a Workhorse 5, using diagram 11. The diagram will show the 4 wires you are asking about.

There was a place in town that carried Workhorse products, but I glanced in the phone book under lighting and didn't see anything I recognized. I'm sure you could find a place on line to purchase.

I have used a Workhorse 7 to power two 24" VHOs, and am currently using a Workhorse 6 to power one 36" T-5 HO (It would power more than that when hooked up diffently).

If you need additional help, I would be glad to help you out.
