It's with a heavy heart that I let my dream slip by... but there will be other times. My wife was let go from Motorola, since she's a contractor and some schmuck that actually works for them and LOST 20 million dollar contract must be allowed to screw up 3 times before they can let him go is going to be taking her job. It wasn't if, it was when, in this economy.
So, with the economy in mind, I'm pricing this stuff low so they go quickly. I'm putting it together as a package price, but feel free to pm me with an offer on any individual part.
Pics will be coming soon, borrowing a camera tomorrow, but get a jump start. I'm available anytime after 6:15 every night this week, but don't wait, it won't last.
Firstly, let me describe the system.
150 xh tank: dimensions are 48" wide x 25" deep x 29 1/2" tall. This was a custom made tank, with a center overflow (on the back of the glass, black acrylic) Large bulkhead fitting in the bottom, with a home-made pvc silencer. 2 holes in the back, for penductors (eductors? never knew the difference) I have the "penductors" that came with the tank, and new fittings for the bottom and a new bulkhead fitting for the overflow.
Stand: Standard height stand, frame made from doubled up 2x4's, with a neat facing that has 3 sides (front, and both sides, shaped like a U.) That way, you can access the sumps from all angles.
Sumps: Seem to be around 20 gallon sumps, they're set up for this tank nicely. One has bio-balls (that I would have ditched) and the other a large area for the skimmer. All the plumbing is included. Underneath, there are 3 ball valves for shutting water off to anything you're working on. There's also a large outdoor timer, works good.
Heater: Titanium heater, from memory, about 12" long.
Return pump: eco plus ECO 1267 (1267 gph) Submersible
Extra pump: eco plus ECO 396 Submersible, with a fan-type spreader for flow.
Maxi-jet 1200
Also, and almost new Magnum 350 canister filter, very popular filter, I have the scrubber type insert for cleaning out particulates from the water, and the basket with prefilter you can put carbon or phosban in.
Skimmer: Aquatic Lifesystems ALS-150. They have a website, but it doesn't seem to be working as of now. I'll give a good description: I saw this thing in action, and it's an animal! Produced about 1/4 cup of nasty dark stuff overnight, and this guy really didn't have it dialed in the way I would have. Skimming extra dry. It stands 23" tall, body is 4 1/2" diameter, footprint 8x10. The pump I'm including with it was the one he was using, and I'd be remiss if I didn't give the actual one I saw working. It's a rio 2500. It has a ballvalve to adjust water height.
Hood: Has to be seen, not a standard hood, but works well. Simple.
Lighting fixture: Tek T-5 6x48" HO, individual reflectors, can't remember the exact bulb combination, but it was a mix of actinics and 10000k, it was purchased from Rob's Eco Reef, All bulbs work, He stated they were around 3 months old, but you know how that goes, I was planning on replacing all the actinics, then 6 months later replacing the rest. You choose, all look good. I was also going to add 3 more 48" strips to this setup for acros, but it was plenty bright with the 10000k's.
Bag of aragonite sand, forget the size, but probably 20lb, I think I paid 24.99 for it. Wet style, bacteria and such.
As for condition, all hardware seems to be fairly new.
All tank fittings are brand new, just need assembled.
All pumps are new-ish, 2 with some coralline, and the 2 bigger ones looking almost new. The skimmer has just been cleaned very well.
The tank needs to be cleaned. With my back, moving it is a chore. I'll have moving dollies when it comes time.
I have a pickup truck, if you can supply the lift, I can supply delivery from N Miami to Boca Raton.
I want $600 for everything. Please, make it easy, do it all at once, this means 2 car payments for me.
For now, I'm keeping the 56 gallon tall. See the next thread for a few things I'm selling from that.
Please call if you're serious about the whole shebang, if you want to put a bid in for individual parts, I will update what's left and the final price of everything left as we go. Thanks!!!
