I've decided to break down my 75G tank and sell it off. This is becoming something of a habit -- I see a guitar I want and I sell a tank.

This is Art's old zoanthid tank -- an Oceanic 75G with internal, corner overflow and a matching one-piece stand hood (the tank slides in the back). The stand shows some wear on the finish, but it still looks fairly good. The tank has a few scratches on the front plate from careless magnet-cleaning.

For the tank and stand/hood, 4xT8 NO lights, internal plumbing and loc-line return nozzle: $300

Additionally, I'll charge the following for a few of the pieces:

  • Wet/Dry sump supply plumbing: $50
Mag 9.5 pump and return tubing: $50
Auto top-off with 3 switches (High, Low, and High-High backup cut-off), relayed receptacle, and maxi-jet pump: $50
    Two heaters (100W / 150W): $10 each
All of it together as a total system: $400

Pics of the top-off system can be seen in my image gallery. None of the independant pieces sell before the system does. And I still need to find a home for most of my fish. The plants and rock will be tossed, but I plan to clean and sell or trade two nice wood pieces if anybody is interested.

That pic is over a year old from when I first relocated my tank. The occupants have changed a little. You have PM.

Auto Top Off

I would like the auto top off system you have for 50 so let me know when you are ready to sell it.
Thanks

Still got this running, but need to take it down soon to redo the carpet and would rather not have to move it around a couple times.

So, for the tank and stand/hood, lights, internal plumbing return nozzle: $250
All of it together as a total system: $350

What are the dimensions on the tank itself?
Is it glass or acrylic?
I assumed glass when you said Oceanic, but you mentioned scratches on the front which usually happens with acrylic.

It is glass and a standard size 75G tank -- 48"W x 18"D x 20"H. It slides into the stand/hood from the back and the short side-panels hide the overflow in the back (leaving about 11" clear viewing on the sides).

The scratches in the glass were caused by a cleaning magnet that picked up a rock. They could probably be buffed out, but I've never tried anything like that.

The tank is tentatively sold. I need to find a home for the freshwater occupants. I have the following:

2 blue botias, 4" (blue/gray loaches with orange tails and fins -- large and fat).
1 pleco, 8"
1 synodontis eut. catfish, 5"
10~12 clumps of cryptos too hardy for the pleco to mess up.

While I would be happy to donate these to a decent home, I would also be happy to take a mushroom or zoa frag as a gift in return. ;)

I am particularly interested in finding a good home for the loaches -- I've had them a long time.

Tank is definitely sold now. And fish are all spoken for. Thanks. And may the new owner return it to the reef tank glory it should have been to begin with. :)
