Hmm? I've been using my hoover cleaner on my "white" carpet twice a year for 6 years with an allergen reducing solution. Looks like new. I'm especially impressed with how it lifts moisture out of both carpet and pad when I spill a little saltwater. I strongly suggest all reefers use a carpet cleaner soon after a spill because saltwater can certainly do damage if you let it sit. By the time a pro shows up to clean up saltwater, it'll be too late I'm afraid.
