I want to get a Reef Octopus Extreme Series EXT-160 because the footprint is smaller and I can stick it in my sump. I know the DNW-150 would probably work better but the EXT-160 is probably better for my situation. I want to do the balling or two part system so that will be taking the spot where the skimmer is now sitting.
It is also Mesh Modded. I can't tell where the waterline is in this thing. There are too many bubbles.
I hooked it up to a Anemone system at the local fish store for a week. Otherwise, it has been sitting in my room dry. The thing had a full cup every two days. I love this skimmer, I just have limited space in my stand.
If anyone has the EXT-160 that they would like to trade, I am willing and ready with cash also.
Anyways, $195 plus shipping is a good deal, here are some pictures:
There is a funny mark on the cup, it came from the factory that way. The cup doesn't leak. Just wanted to make sure y'all are aware.
