For Sale/Trade TriggerFish

Hi all,

First of all, I am new to Reef Central. I got into this hobby after getting a 50 gallon tank and fish from my wife's friend. I have been reading the newbie articles about starting the saltwater tank and details.

I'm starting from scratch, so first I will try to sell or trade the Triggerfish. Attached are 2 pics of the trigger. I check www.liveaquaria.com and the closest match I can find is the Pinktail Triggerfish. I might be wrong. The size is about 7 inches.

Now I think there is a problem with the fish. I noticed a white spot on top of the fin. I'm not sure what it is since I am new to this hobby.

You are more than welcome to check out the fish yourself. Looking to sell it for $25 or trade it for Hermit Crabs (Dwarf Blue Leg Hermit Crabs
and Scarlet Reef Hermit Crabs).

I can't see the white spot well in your picture. Could be ich by your brief description. It would be a good idea to treat for it before you add inverts to the tank. Plenty of ich info on RC.

Ah, blue jaw triggerfish. You are right. It match closely to the pictures I found on the web. Thank you (sulcata1619 and prodman).

Mcurl98: The problem is I don't have any quarantine tank. I don't want to use the main tank for ich treatment. Once the fish is gone, I was planning to leave the tank without fish for a month. The tank currently has live rock and sand.
