For those with dead jebao

Just get a new impeller. I had a graveyard of jebao pumps from wp to rw, ordered a bunch of impellers on ebay and they are all back online. The impeller may look ok, but if there is even a little bit of gunk on them, they won't work.

Give the impeller assembly a distilled vinegar bath. Pull the rod out and scrape all calcium off. Good as new.

IMHO, it's the calcium on the metal rod that stops the magnet from rotating the actual impeller.

Soak first or you can break the rod trying to extract it.

YMMV.

I did that. Didn't work very well for me. Another good way to clean the ceramic parts is blast it with a torch. Breaks up the calcium into dust.
