Does F&S Aquatics carry a version of this with any mfg? I cannot find it and I'm looking to procure it in efforts to build my med supply list on hand stock.

I've always just used "Quick Cure" which lists Formalin as an active ingredient. It has always worked for me and you should be able to get it at PetCo/PetSmart. I looked on F&S and this (see link below) contains Formalin as an active ingredient. But I've never used this medication before.
I bought a 32oz bottle of Formalin MS(37% formalin) from petsolutions. you will probably only need a 16oz. they didnt have the smaller size when i ordered it. they are pretty fast with shipping.
F&S no longer carries formalin (formeldahyde). The "Rid-Ich" in b0bab0ey's post should work well for brooklynella; the main use for formalin. It has the same % as formalin and just adds some Mal. Green. Unlike its name-it won't "Rid-Ich", though.
Just curious... anyone know what % of Formalin does Quick Cure have in it? I've used it before for Brook and it worked fine. But I never have been able to find online what % of Formalin it has in it. I guess I could just call their tech support (lazy).
i've researched it before prior to getting the Formalin MS and couldnt find the info on it. You can certainly try, but i believe they will not tell you.
Similarly to Paraguard, Seachem wont say what exactly is in it.
Some people use Formalin-based dips (like Quick Cure, Rid Ich, etc.) on their fish. This might help with Brook but unfortunately, these do nothing for Ich, Velvet, Flukes. IME Prazi is best used as an in-tank treatment.
Personally, I use Coral Rx. Supposedly it kills worms, nudibranchs, hitchhiking crabs & starfish, etc. But it doesn't kill diseases, such as Ich hitchhikers that might be on the coral - or at least it doesn't say it does. I also don't think it kills all worms, because I've used it on any and every coral, and I still have flatworms in my DT. :mad2:
