Tank looks very nice. I cant wait till my tank gets filled in like that. Yes FAOIS is a must when you come back. Their selction blows exotic aquatics out of the water. Those zoos are nice.

Thanks ttrex, I just saw your post. Are you using a calcium reactor? They are not needed but when dealing with acros they come in handy

I would also like to attend a meeting if thats cool with the club

I dont not have a calcium reactor yet. It is in my wish list tho. I need to get a few more things first.... another tunze, 2 tunze magnets, a ro/di system and finish my lighting. I am currently dosing with B-Ionic and see it getting expensive over time.

tunze are really nice. I plan to replace my seios with them but my seios are still working fine and I can use the money on other tank items like wavy seas
You will be happy once you get your RO/DI . You will wonder why you didnt get one sooner. It makes things much easier
What kind of lighting do you plan on using?

Im running T5's..... 4-54w aquablue+ and just got 2-54w actinic+ today. Gotta swap out 1 of the bulbs cause it is bad and see where i am at with the lighting after that. Probably will end up with 2 more actinic+. gonna be a tight fit if i do but i think i can squeeze 2 more in there. I am getting a great price on the tunzes pre owned. Gonna get the other tunze next weekend. I want the ro/di and will probably end up hooking it to the fridge as well to minimize waste of water. I just set the tnk up maybe 2 months ago so buying water hasnt been that much of a hassle yet.

PelagicMagic, that is a VERY nice tank - I'm jealous. I'm still waiting for mine to cycle before I can add anything (two weeks down). All this talk about FAOIS it's now a must on my list.

hey palegic cool find at exotic. you are right their selection was kind of low I got a radiant wrasse there yesterday and it was eating already. hopefully a good sign. don't count them out because they are more hit and miss than some places but sometimes they have alot of great pieces.
as far as ichthy stuff and his sps selection I haven't actually counted but I say there is over 200 sps pieces in his 1 tank. it's an 8 ft 240 or 280 with egg crate rows jam packed saturday with sps of many different kinds. pavona, montipora, acro's seriatapora and whatever others that are there. anything from a 1/2 inch frag to 8-10 inch stags. some brown some a glowing blue. he isn't a 1/2 inch frager those are pieces that broke in shipping or a coral he had to break apart because of poor shipping. most frags are a couple inches with multiple branches. he has been known to ship things also if there is something you are looking for just call and ask.
