found tiny black worm......

lately ive been having problems with some of my sps slowly losing coloration and showing signs of stress couldnt figure it out all the params where perfect along with lighting and temp. then today on one of the corals that where showing major signs of stress found tiny black dots so decided to try something and dip it in lugols....didnt see anything come off so put it back in the tank and about 5 mins later the black dots started fleeing the frag....they where very small black worms....anyone every seen such a thing before?

I have the same ones but in my DT. Did you ever figure out what they were? I also lost a colony of acro and I think it was the worms fault.

The only tiny black worms I've ever seen in a reef tank totally covered one of my reef tanks while I was setting it up. They turned out to be algae eaters. (They were only about 2 mm long...very tiny). Never had a problem with them and corals/fish.
