Hi guys.

i am about to change from the 30 gallon to the new 46 gallon tank, i have two maxijet 900 in the 30 gallon.
just want to know if the two fowerheads going to be enough for the 46 gallon?
and if i can get an advice how to use my 30 gallon as a sump.

What do you plan to keep? That is ok for LPS and the like, some sps, but overall relatively low flow. For a good powerhead, I recommend the Seio pumps (or Tunze if you can afford it). As far as a sump goes, simply route the overflow water into the 30. You may want to create some compartments, etc. depending upon your needs.

first off, its spelled Powerheads...

second those would meet the minimum requirements. I think you'll be alright as long as you have a turkey baster to remove ant access buildup

by siliconing sheets of glass within the tank.

can you give more details? like how many departments? what size? what hardware i need? ect.

compartment wise, id go with about 2-3" of the back of the tank section offed with 3 compartments.

Youd silicon a piece of glass all the way across the length of the tank. then make 3 inserts for the compartment you made.

Id recommend a protein skimmer in section 1, LR rubble in 2, and heater and return pump in section 3.
