FOWLR lighting?

what kind of lighting are you guys running on your FOWLR tank?

Right now i am running 1 400W MH 10000k in the middle to get that glimmering effect and for peak noon hours. and then mostly running VHO actinics the rest of the time. I'd like to look into other lighting that will show off more coloring of fish when the MH is not on...what do you think?

That's way too much light brother. That is algae waiting to happen. Once the fish start pooping and all the light could be hair algae nightmare. I know I've been there. I would say t5's somewhere around the 2 watts per gallon with a 50/50 mix would work pretty well.

I just got my light I have a coralife T5 series Double Linear Strip. AquaLight T5

10,000K Daylight & True Actinic 03 Blue T5 Florecent lamps

56 watt all togeather. I really like it.

Im useing the coralife 4x65 watt pc. 260 watts and im not haveing a algae problem. I turn the actinic lights on for about 3hrs than flip on the 10,000k for about 5hrs than just actinic for 2hrs turn off actinic than lunners come on for 1hr.
