Very nice fish how big is the tank?

is that more than 1 achilles? what are the dimensions of the tank?
Nice pics!
I love the eel.
I too want to know how big the tank is?
Is that 3 achilles I saw, or a reflection?
any aggression issues with the multiple achilles?
any videos?
how do you usually QT the achilles?
any issues with ich in the DT with any of the fish?
thanks!
DT: 2M x 0.8M x 0.9M, sump is 3/4 the DT volume. Sump-wise it's a simple set up. First chamber is filter media to catch the large stuff and I've an army of snails here. Second chamber holds the Reef Octopus skimmer (which takes one full cup of skimate out a day, ~one gallon cup), then into the live rock / sand chamber, then into the return pump chamber which holds about 2 liters of carbon media, which is changed out every month. If I could do it all over again, I'd add another chamber just for calupera like I have on the SPS tank. This, however, I'm waiting to do until I build out the big tank next year. The live rock chamber also holds all of the airheads. The final chamber is also getting a Bio-Ball reactor in about a month. I want to see how this works in this tank and I'm all for over cleaning of the water...
Beautiful tank! Thanks for the info in the other thread about your sump... I like it. I'll be doing something similar with my FOWLR upgrade. Some questions: How often do you replace or clean the filter media in the first chamber? Do you have a problem with detritus in the liverock chamber? What sort of lighting do you use, and how much/often is it on? I am asking because I am pretty unhappy with the amount of algae on the rocks in my current FO, but I also don't own a single tang, and was hoping not to.
BTW I had a snake eel just like that one many years ago... it was by far my favorite fish that I've ever kept. One day I'll find another one.
Any pictures of the maculiceps tang? Wondering how his color is. I just ordered one and his color is pretty dull. Wondering if its due to his size of just shipping/QT stress.
