FOWLR zebra eel tank

here's my 125g! it's been set up for a couple months now, and i can't wait to get the eel! i think the cave i made for it will be plenty big. the only other fish i want to get apart from the one's i have in there now and the eel is a powder brown tang.

i had to do a lot of cosmetic work to the stand and canopy, they were in pretty rough shape when i got them, but i think they came out ok. i do need to clean the doors, though.

you can see the openings to the cave on either side of the purple rock in the bottom center of this pic

here's the only fish in there at the moment 2 clowns(Nemo and Bob) and a Chalk Bass(Wiggles)

here's the sump, as soon as i get in a part for my skimmer, it'll be in there, too. i'm also gonna throw some cheato in here somewhere and have a makeshift fuge.

That stand/canopy is sharp! I am thinking about painting my stand. Did you sand and paint, sand primer and paint or just paint?

I am getting a new 125 for the office, and have already purchased a zebra eel that is waiting for my tank to get set up and cycle. I love zebra eels.

Your cave looks great. Where did you get the rock?

thanks ladyshark! i just sanded and painted it, i had to fix a few things up in the process, glue the doors back together, little stuff like that. i got the rock from people on here, i got it all for around $2/lb.
