fox coral

Sorry if you took offense. Far to many times in threads, people say how great things are with T5s or whatever but in reality haven't had them long enough to really know.

With a fox, your lighting configuration is probably the better suited than most people with T5s. Using a Tek fixture where the reflectors are about 20% less effective than competitors combined with it only a 4 bulb when often time people run many more T5 bulbs aren't as friendly to some LPS.

i love foxes. i have 2, both under pc's in different tanks. i sometimes feed them but they don't seem to really eat any of what i feed. i keep 1 on the sand & 1 on the rock. both are doing great, esp. the one on the rock.

here's the 1 on the rock:

can't find a pic of the one on the sand.

I have a 7 month old fox coral under power compacts that does well. The only problem that has occurred is small anemonees that hitchhiked and spread onto the coral. They stung it and it receeded/split into two along the middle of it's ridge. The two clark clowns i have love it and it's a cool host.

geez some people. my fox loves t5 light. 4 @ 54 watts 2 blue + and 2 aquablue w/ ice cap reflectors reg. driven. delbeek and sprung know a thing or two and they say foxes will expand under strong light.
