fox faced rabbitfish

I have had a fox faced rabbitfish for almost 2 months. His colours have always been great, but yesterday and today he has had a very dark line running across the top half of its body. Its runs from the front to the back. I know this is normal, but I've never seen it this dark. Its been dark non stop since yesterday morning. He is eating fine and acting fine. He is friendly towards me when I go up the glass and at feeding time. He starts eating nori from the clip before I even have it stuck on the glass.

I'm not sure if he is lacking in his diet, or maybe its just a breeding season type of behavoiur? His diet consists of nori sheets and Nutrafin Max Marine Complete Food.

What do you think might be the problem? He seems healthy otherwise.

At this point, i would not worry since can go thru color fading b/n day and night or when spooked.. As long as water is good and eating well, just monitor for any kind of external symptoms or behavior change.
