Foxface eating my feather duster ?

I know foxfaces have been known to prey on corals which is why I suspect my foxface is the one responsible for my feather duster worm's mutilation. The duster had been extremely reclusive lately, I never saw him at all and his tube seemed to be deteriorating. Today I noticed the foxface "mouthing" the remains of his tube, not eating or tearing, just mouthing it with no obvious damage. The worm was still in the process of regenerating his tube from a previous incident which makes fish predation all the more likely. Does anyone have experience with something like this who can give me some advice? Also, would a worm with a healthy tube survive the foxface?

i dont know im afraid, a guy i know had one polish off all his zoas one day out of the blue...

Mine at the tube to my tube anemone then polished off a nice size rock of clove polyps that I had. Oh and he ate a softball size cheato ball that I had hidden behind the rocks. Back the LFS he went.

Mine will pick on the zoas in the tank, so to the Rabbitfish, a feather duster worm does not really appear that much different, just a large zoa!
