is the foxface a hardy fish? i dont have a sump so nitrates go up to 20 ppm sometimes. also are they reef safe cause i want to make a reef soon.

saadatski, how big is your tank? they usually require an 80 or larger tank, they can be hardy but with the fluctuating parameters it might stress your fish out IMO..hope that helps

well i got a 36g for now, but in about a month, i will have a 75 hopefully. gotta work for the money thats why

save the money for the tank and do not spend it on a foxface. wait till you have the larger tank then spend the money on the fish.

spending the money in advanced for the fish could be the moneey you need to get better live rock or a better skimmer or something to the effect

I would wait for the new tank to get this fish.

YEP! +1 on these..just wait for the 75g use the $$ for equipments :)

A 75 is too small for a foxface, they get quite large very quickly. It's better to leave those guys be until you can get a larger tank.

+1 on a bigger tank, those fish get big and fat real fast, they eat like pigs. And if you ever spook 1, you'll see how fast they can swim corner to corner. It's also cool how they will change color to match the enviroment when they get scared or when they are sleeping at night to comouflage.

I mentioned this in your other thread about it, but I agree with this. Mine seemed cramped in a 200g (and I should mention that he was nowhere near full size).
