Foxface has ich.

Hey there. I had my magnificent foxface in qt for 2 weeks. He seemed fine so I moved him over to my 90 gallon dt. After 2 days he has ich. The water quality of the dt is good and he is with a longnose hawkfish and 2 tomato clowns. They seem to get along fine. I am wondering what I should do. I could leave him in there and hope he fights it off. I could try to catch him and move him over to the qt tank and use cupramine or hypo (my dt has corals). He is eating fine and I have not noticed anything unusual with him up until this point. Any advice would appreciated.
Thanks

Two weeks quarantine is not long enough. Read the stickies at the top of the forum on cryptocaryon and fish parasites. All fish will need to be treated as they have all been exposed. You will also have to take them all out of the tank and leave the main fallow for 72 days to starve out the ich. There is no other way of eradicating it from the main.

Ok so I added the foxface, within 24 hours he showed signs of ich. I removed him and he is back in qt. this is within 12 hours of showing signs. Is it necessary for me to qt the three other fish or can they stay in dt safely. Please explain. Is it possible for me to wait and see if they show signs of the parasite.?

You will not be able to tell for quite a while because ich does not start with visible symptoms. Yes, you need to treat all fish and leave the display tank fallow for 12 weeks.

Yes O have done all the reading and I will gladly move all my fish to qt. I just want to understand. If the ich has not fallen off the foxface then it was removed with the fish?

It probably has, and no you won't see it. We know it sucks, but the fish need to be treated and DT fallow to eradicate. I've been there with Brook, just got to buckle down and do it.

Ok. I am sure this is somewhere but I am having trouble finding it.
Can I leave inverts and corals in my tank while it fallows?
Can I add corals while it fallows?
Should I feed the tank while it fallows to keep the bacteria alive?
Turn off protein skimmer?

Thank you

You can feed the tank, keep all inverts and corals in place, you could add corals but they might bring in undesirables.
