Hello there I was hoping you all could help me identify this grey (Coral?) Any help is appreciated. Upper left/middle portion of Image..

It seemed to just show up one day...

Thanks NanoReef...I watched a couple of videos and you were spot on. I was going to describe them as Pulsating at the ends but it sounded strange. Little did i know that is part of their name. Too Funny....

in the videos i watched it seems that they can be a pest at times (overgrowth wise) is this the case?

the coral is hit or miss…either it thrives or it dies…personally i have never had luck with them…just bought one for my daughters tank yesterday though…however i usually keep them isolated and on a solitary rock in the sanded, as far as possible from the main rocks and glass…cause if they take off,they are plague like.
