frag color change from MH to LED

Check out the color change of this frag...it was grown under metal halides then fragged, spent some time in a frag tank also under metal halides then moved to my LED driven tank. Sorry these are poor quality cell phone pictures

What was the comparison of the corals placement in both tanks? also is the frag tank plumbed into the main tank and sharing the same water parameter's?

What kind of leds? does it have reds or uv in it?

Just curious, it looks like one of dan's frags and ive seen some people put his frags from excellent water quality that he maintains and his parameters into dirtier tanks and the colors will change drastically..

It is the same frag in both pictures and has been at the same level int the tank. It is one of Dan's. I run Ecotechmarine radions gen 1 so no uv...at least not until I upgrade to the pros. As far as water quality goes...I maintain excellent water quality and stable parameters but admittedly probably not as pristine as Dan's. I also believe I maintain lower Alk level than Dan. I believe the lighting is the biggest thing reason for the change.

without any VHO supplementation or reds/pinks/uvs that could be it... I would lean more towards that than just the MH to led change..i think VHO super actinic REALLY brings out the reds in corals.. this is JMO of course...
