Frag Demo follow up thread

I had a great time this weekend at the event and will make sure to attend more as I continue to progress with my tank and reef knowledge. This was my first FRAG event and I was completely caught off guard by the turnout. What a crowd!

I want to thank all of those who made this event and all events possible. It was a great experience for someone like myself who is starting out but wants to learn beyond reading and forums. It is extremely beneficial for newcomers to see these types of techniques first hand, and I without a doubt took home some valuable skills (and frags!) from the recent meeting.

It was very nice to meet all of you and I look forward to joining the next PROP auction and whatever else comes up.

Thanks again to all! (Jason, Jorell, Eric, Reef Monsters, Thrive Aquatics and Coral Rx, Eco Tec, Nick, and Perry, hope I haven't left anyone out).

not a problem at all! as long as i can be there maybe we will do a sound check from now on before we start! see if we cant make it a bit more clear and loud all the way to the back of the room!

That would be great. Not you have to show up, no more fishing trips! Yay! No pressure tho. LOL

I am very sorry that I missed the event, I was really looking forward to it. We had a sudden death in the family. My uncle who was 77 passed on Saturday morning as did his wife (my aunt) today. If there was anyone that video taped the event, I would love the opportinity to see it.

We had 40 members check in and 106 corals were brought in for sale or trade at this meeting. This is not counting all of the free frags Reef Monsters provided to the club. Pretty impressive numbers. We will continue the "check in" at the next meeting in August. I noticed it did help people find one another easily. So if you ever need a hand finding another member, just stop by the guy with the laptop and see if they have checked in. I also want to thank Elizabeth (pocketfish84) for helping me out with this.
