frag glue

what kind of super glue can be used to glue frags to live rock? Or can I use any super glue?

You can use any thick superglue, but if you buy just anything it causes a mess. I buy the maxi-cure from salty & havent found anything better yet. It works awesome, i like to mount my frags directly on the LR and can do that without even removing the rock from my display tank.

FYI...that same Maxi-Cure can be found at any Hobby Shop (and probably most "Michaels", etc Craft stores.) if you have some closer to you than Critter...

Really? thats awesome. Maxi-Cure works awesome. I used to use that reef epoxy stick & maxi is way better.

For glue I use the Duro Super Glue Gel which you can find at any Walmart. Also use Harvey's Plumber's Epoxy (the two-part clay stick) which is at HD I think.

Been using both for years....no problems.

any marine epoxy putty (lowes hd etc. ) and/or any gell type superglue will do the trick. I use bolth depending on the situation.

small frags usualy get super glue. larger frags, or lps frags tend to get epoxy. sometimes i use bolth, epox to make a particular frag "fit" and later sg to attach the frag to the new perfect spot.
