Frag Hitchhiker

I recently picked up a few frags from another reefer and put them in my quarantine tank. I've noticed somethings crawling over the rock when the lights are on. They are tiny, maybe 1/8" long and maybe 1/64" wide. They are beige-colored and move pretty quickly on the rock.

So here's the question or questions....are these some sort of pod and is that a good thing? Or should I be worried?

Thanks for the input and the pic from Sanddune. I took some pics but even magnified they were difficult to distinquish. What I've seen on these rocks are more "worm-like" in shape and less "shrimp-like" as in the Sanddune photo. They are probably harmless, but wanted to be sure before I put them in the display tank. Any other opinions appreciated.

dip everything, then qt for awhile watch for problems / reinfestation.

I cant imagine that they are anything you would despratly need, even if they are harmless. I can imagine a few things you dont need.

Mystery solved...I think this is an amphipod. Thanks for all the links, especially Melev's critter catalog. I was wrong in my earlier observation. It was not worm-like and in fact has the shrimp features. Thanks again for the feedback and guidance.
