Hi guys and gals got this frag from local lfs on Saturday sold as sps but that it is not what believe it to be but I'm sure I could be wrong haha it's not soft but not solid like typical sps kinda flexible like a fishing pole any help would be great thanks it does almost look like is has encrusted on frag plug IMG_0310.jpgIMG_0310.jpg

Could be a gorgonian. If so, I believe it's nom photosynthetic.

Thanks thought it might be gorgonian but what makes you think it's non photosynthetic
I checked when lights out full polyps and same as with full light if it is I'll be ok as have plenty of food but where I bought it from is not a very well organized lfs and I don't think they would put work into non photosynthetic thanks again

I had just been looking for similar pics and saw a few different varieties. Kinda looks like a sea rod which can be both as it does have zooxanthellae.

Thanks again I'll make sure I feed it and see how it goes I'm based in Ireland not a great selection here and have to travel to get anything
