CFAS will be hosting another frag swap on Saturday, January 16 starting at 11AM. We can provide tables and tanks for sellers and have a large space for hosting the event.
It will be in the MarineQuest Lab (room 1208) at UNCW's Center for Marine Science.
NOTE: THIS IS NOT LOCATED ON UNCW'S MAIN CAMPUS. IT IS IN MYRTLE GROVE. IF YOU GO TO MAIN CAMPUS YOU ARE IN THE WRONG PLACE!!! Sorry, just had to get that out of the way.
There will be a collecting trip, starting sometime after the swap dies down. It will be cold, be prepared. There is not the warm water diversity we typically see but still plenty of macr and other cool stuff to see. We have plenty of nets, buckets, and livecoolers but you will need something to carry your catch home in.
We had a great turnout last time with plenty of buyers and sellers.
We will have plenty of tables for vendors and hobbyists alike. Since this event will benefit the CFAS, MBAS, and CCRKA it is asked that all sellers pay a nominal $5 table fee OR donate a frag for raffle. For more information please email capeaquariumsociety@gmail.com
