The BOD (and spouses) will be setting up for the frag swap between 7-9pm on Friday evening... If you are wanting to set up a tank for the frag swap, please arrive between 7-8 so that we can be out of there by 9 at the latest... Anyone that wants to show up to help set up would be wanted and welcome... Set up primarily consists of running extension cords, moving tables and chairs, and making runs to WalMart/HomeDepot to purchase supplies we might need...

Saturday morning the BOD thought we'd arrive around 9-9:30 am... Again, anyone that wants to is welcome to arrive at that time... We'll basically be going over the game plan for the day, and making sure everything is in order... People can arrive to set up their tanks and sales tables at 10am... The frag swap officially begins at 12 noon...

We'll definately need some people to help clean up... I'll pretty much start cleaning as soon as the raffle is over... I know I have received a few PMs stating that some can not stay for the whole event, and that is understood... The more people we have helping the faster we all can leave and get our new aquisitions in our tanks... :D


Please post any questions or things that might have been overlooked...
 
Yeah, ok...so I guess I can show up either Friday night or Saturday morning and stay until later on on Saturday night, is what you're saying?
 
I'd like to see a list of jobs too. myabe an excel sheet emails to those of us who've volunteered to help.
 
We will need people to greet at the door... 3 at a time...

One to have people sign in for DFS $5 coupon

One to hand out Door prize tickets and Raffle Tickets

One to take money and give change...

Figure hour or half hour shifts depending on how many volunteers...

The rest it would be great if you could help set up or clean up...

I volunteer to meet and greet at the door. It is my first frag swap ever so I'd like some time to wander around and look before working but I'd be happy to sell tickets or something similar.

Don, at this point an excel sheet with who is doing what and what time would be a bit overwhelming to produce, IMO.

Randy...right! I'm on concessions! I forgot.

Want me to come help set up the night before though? If I'm not needed then I can certainly stay home. You guys can always call me if you need something from Home Depot or Lowe's and I can go get it then run out there (obviously not on my scooter).

Eddie's busy so I'm not sure exactly when he wants me to show up, but I will be there early on Saturday and I'm sure we can work things out then. I need to buy some meat for the cheese dip is all, but I can handle that myself.
 
Wait, wait...you need someone to hold the DTs in their refrigerator at home, or you need someone to bring a fridge for us to use at the swap? Be specific here, Randy!

Also, how big of a refrigerator to bring? Full sized or large dorm sized?
 
OH. I can maybe make some space in my refrigerator but I'm all the stinkin' way out here. Have you called Art? I am totally willing to help. I've got 3 of those big LiveAquaria coolers that we could ice down. I was saving them for Matt but I can meet you and let you use them in the mean time or babysit them myself if you want.

What about all those coolers you give to Matt and some bags of ice?

I can actually put them in my walk-in cooler here at work if need be too, Randy, though that is fraught with things that could go wrong.
 
I'll try getting ahold of Art and Eddie... Its coming in at the FedEx off of Murdock... So I'll be right there next to them...
 
That's what I'd do...for sure...ask those dudes. Eddie's got a lot going on right now, but if it's just throwing some stuff into a refrigerator it might be ok.

When does it come? I can try to meet you out there and take some back to my place or drop off coolers in an emergency case. Holla'!

I am off work on Th. but will be in court in the morning and could hold some bottles. Just let me know how many you need me to hold.
 
Its coming tomorrow morning, but I won't be able to pick it up untill after work...

What's going to happen to it if it sits all day at the warehouse? Need someone to go pick it up???
 
It was shipped 2 day... Its packed with ice packs in coolers... An extra couple hours isn't going to hurt it...

I have 8 cans of mild rotel and 8 pounds of velvetta.

If there is anyone else who would like to help with concessions, we could probably use another person.

How many pounds of Velveeta is one block? Is it 2 pounds?

The dang things feel like 5 lbs...in your gut I'm sure it feels heavier. hah hah.

We are going to have the cheese-dippiest swap EVER!
 
So is my fridge needed? I have been drinking my beer with both hands in order to make space. It was a tough sacrifice but you know anything for the club.
Oh and I now get to go to the trial with the grand jury. Yeah the judicial system.
Oh and my Great Dane got part of her ear bitten off by the neighbor's dog.
