Frag swap time?

I want Rics guys!

Also, everybody remember to bring cash. FB shouldnt have to deal with making people change for credit card transactions. Please come prepared with cash and make it easy on them.
 
Like bgsutton said a few posts up, will we have tables with set prices, to simplify things, or will we have to write it down the price on each individual piece?

Also, on the FB email it says to come early for setup, when are you all going to show up?
 
Whats up guys sorry haven't been to active this week I was in California picking up corals and fish. :)

Actually the selling prior and after might work well. If we do that I would suggest getting there early. What if we do it silent style where if someone likes a certain frag they silently bid what they want and then the auction starts at that bid? Any Ideas

Mike, what if it is a set price. Then if it doesn't sell at the set price, it can be put in the auction to eventually sell? I'm good with however you guys want to set it up though.
 
I'm just trying to keep it the easiest way possible for the store. If the set prices are reasonable, the pieces wouldn't go to the auction and save time. This would be mainly for people trying to sell multiples of the same piece. Allowing some to thin their tank out a little more if they wanted. Thinking have 5 people at a time walk through and pick out the ones they want and it gets written down the same way as if it were auctioned off. Maybe have everyone draw a number from a bucket so its organized.
 
I like the set price idea too. Some people will have multiple pieces of the same thing, such as myself, and it would make it easier to sell and buy each frag. Then if it doesn't sell, it could be put to auction.
 
I would say buy sell trade between reefers until the auction starts. The only drawback about that is auction style gives everyone a chance at corals and usually brings sellers higher prices. What a seller thinks is a $5 weed in their tank usually becomes a $20 treasure to another. IMO

If I was the gambling type, I would bet they are. They made a special trip to hand pick some stuff from one of their distributors. Plus they have had a sale the last couple swaps.
