Frag tank dimensions

I am just interested what others are using for frag tanks. I have been wanting to set one up for a while now, and I am just collecting ideas.

If you could include a pic and the dimensions I would appreciate it alot!

Just built a 36 x 30 x 10.... ~40g. Lit w/ a 250w MH pendant, probably overkill, but what I have. This was an acrylic DIY i did.... External coast to coast overflow. Tied to main display

If you build don't go Deep (front to back ) than 30", otherwise will become very hard to reach in back there.

I have been kind of thinking about 36x18x8. I got a quote from an acrylic tank maker in the area for 240, thats with thicker sides and no bracing, with a 45 degree corner overflow.

If you dont mind me asking, What was the cost of materials to build your tank?

I might have to try building one if its cheaper.

For the cost of $240, you will probably be at the cost in materials, plus you need to buy tools and all your time. Save the headache's and buy it done.

I had all the acrylic already on hand from a 200g tank that wasn't finished so all I had to buy was glue, a saw blade, make a jig, and a few scrape pieces of acrylic. Still probably spent almost $125 there. and my acrylic in general was free.
