Frag Tank Egg Crate Alternative

I found some unused ceramic rings while I was finding my other stuff to start a frag tub for zoanthids. So I decided to use that instead. I'm assuming it'll be better than eggcrates, here's why...

Egg crates
Pros:
-Cheap
-Easy to mount frag plugs
-Can be stacked to make it higher

Cons:
-Could possibly leech chemicals that may harm corals/fish/etc.
-Algae

Ceramic Rings
Pros:
-Good media for beneficial bacteria
-Also an alternative for live rock
-Coral can grow onto it
-Easy to remove once coral has grown onto it
-If you can find ceramic rings with bigger holes, you can put frag plugs in
-looks nicer:spin1:
(also I don't usually use the frag plugs with the shaft below, I use flat pieces or live rock rubble.)

Cons:
-Takes a long time to arrange, especially for large tanks
-Quite expensive

Eitherway, I just wanna share the idea.
