Frag tank lighting

I am in the process of adding a frag/grow out tank to my system. Hopefully I will be able to turn the ball valve on this weekend. But I do not yet have lights for it. As some may have seen at the PN I have LEDs over my displays. A mix of Ecotech Radions and Reefbreeder Photons. Due to start up cost, will not be able to put LEDs on it right away.

Anyone see any harm in getting a t5 system and running that for a bit? Or should i try to keep frags in same type of lighting?

i would keep it as close to the same as possible.

switching frags/corals from t5 to led or vice versa can be hazardous:sad1:

T5 will work great. Don't know the size of your frag tank, but you could also go with a Ocean Revive T247 for a $150. I have one on my 40 breeder and at 25%. I'm starting to bleach things out. Light is hanging from the ceiling about twelve inches off the water.
