Frag Tank Lighting

Hey guys. I have a 36L X 18W X 12D glass cages tank that I am turning into a frag tank. I have a hood with a 250W MH light for it but the hood makes it very awkward to get into without getting water all over the place. I am thinking of leaving it an open top and getting another light for it that would make access easier. I am looking for something that is pretty cheap but I want it to be able to support SPS. Any ideas?

How cheap I just got a tek light for my frag tank the same size along with two others for my other tanks.

Thanks Wayne. I have been looking at those. I have really been looking at T5 lights. I don't really know much about them though so I don't know which ones are good and which ones are not.

jack has a really nice setup...6 bulbs over a 90....and his sps looks awesome!!!

I think I'm gonna try the new Nova sundial T5HO light. I don't think they have true individual reflectors like the TEK though. Well, that's what I read about the NOVA Pro lights. Somethin' about 1 reflector thats bent like \/\/\/\/

Been looking at those too. They are a little cheaper and have a stands built in. On the Tek ones you have to buy those seperate if you want them.

yea, and they are like $60 for the tek legs.

The tek lights have one reflector bent multiple times just like the other one.

I like the hangers that come with the tek lights though will be easy to mount in a hood or to hang over head I am not a big fan of any legs as I have had problems with other types.
