Deep Blue Professional Frag Tanks

Have you considered carrying the Deep Blue Professional frag thanks?

Hi, TimothyJ. Nice to see you again in our RC forum! We sent your suggestion to our purchasing department to consider. Hopefully they'll follow up with us soon so we can let you know what they think. Aquariums aren't a huge seller for online retailers, since a good percentage of hobbyists prefer to see what they're buying in person before making such an important purchase. That said, perhaps this is something worthy of pursuit. We'll have to look into their popularity (online search volume, buzz, etc.) and cost to determine if it makes fiscal sense to bring them aboard. Are you hearing good things? Would you recommend them for us? We appreciate your question and thank you for bringing these tanks to our attention.

I personally do not know enough about the company to "support" them, but do notice a large amount of people now getting them and posting their builds in the nano section of RC. I know it is difficult to find anything comparible to this style and size with out going custom and this really "ups" the pricing. I have searched locally for something like this and nothing is available. I do know that I have asked a handful of the people who have posted their build for this tank on RC where they got the tanks and most have said locally, so I am not sure how many vendors offer the product online unfortunately.

Thank you for the follow-up

Thank you for the follow-up

Here are a couple threads from the nano section with the tank. I can reach out to the owners for their opinions if you would like a better idea on the product.

Thank you for the references. Mike & Terry's 30g Shallow Rimless Build is especially awesome. We'll follow once when we learn more about these tanks and the company.

I wanted to follow up and see if this tank has made any positive or negative impressions on your company. I am still trying to track down a vendor which sells it online as no one locally seems to carry them. I do see that PetStore.com carries them, which by the design of their website, I believe is an affiliate of yours. The photo shows the reef ready version, which I am looking for the non-reef ready. Any further insight would be appreciated, thanks.

PetStore.com is our sister-site. You can actually login using your MarineDepot.com username and password if you'd like to purchase the tank. Our purchasing department did not provide us feedback one way or the other about this aquarium/brand, so we're taking that as an indicator we will not be bringing it aboard at MarineDepot.com at this time.

PetStore.com operates a little differently than MarineDepot.com. Whereas we stock almost everything you see online at MarineDepot.com on our own warehouse shelves, many of the products available at PetStore.com are shipped from distributors"โ€essentially intermediaries between us and manufacturers.

Ideally we could mosey into our warehouse right now, crack open a box and give you our impressions like we can for MD. PetStore.com is basically in its infancy. As we strengthen and grow the brand, we'll be able to bring more and more of the high-volume items into our own inventory. Anyway, just some background.

It pains us we could not be of more assistance, so please accept our sincere apology. If our distributors had the non-reef ready model available for shipment, it would definitely be listed on the PetStore.com website.
