Frag Tank

Recently set up my frag tank. I have it plumbed into the main system and it is in my basement. My basement is not finished. I noticed that the Frag tank is collecting a lot of dust. Some of the PE on the corals seems to be less than usual. Can this dust affect the health of corals?

Sure, what is generating the dust? dirt through floor boards, dryer lint, etc. When we try so hard to eliminate contaminants in the reef, dust can be an issue.
