Frag tank

So I was thinking about building a frag tank and I realized a reptile tank would be perfect like a reptile tank that is 48 long 12 wide and 10 tall but I remember reading that it would not work somewhere but I forget where if you guys have some input it would be awesome

It would depend on glass thickness. Reptile tanks can have thin glass as it is there to keep a reptile in, not many gallons of water in.

What is a standard glass thickness for a aquarium designed for water then

Honestly not quite sure. Though I do think some people use those Zoo Med low boys as frag tanks, and they originally are terrariums. So for such a short tank height it is likely less of an issue than on taller tanks.
