fraggin hammer coral

i have a branching hammer that now has about 20 heads. i want to try fragging it. where do i cut? also, should i do it in the early morning while the polyps are still retracted?. thanks

cut between the stalks where there is no tissue. you can do it anytime you wish, when you remove it from the tank dip it back in and out a few times and the polyps will fully retract.
