Fragging duncans?

Is it possible to frag individual heads of duncans off of a colony around 6-8 heads? When they're fully extended they seem large enough to cut off, but when they're retracted it appears they can't be cut out without damaging the colony and I wonder if the head would even live. What is the best way, if any, to frag them without causing those issues?

super easy to do. I like to use a dremel but I have seen people use bone cutters (aka coral cutting pliers). Just cur them off anf glue them to a frag plug or live rock.
