Fragging Palythoas

When I first got my paly frag, i glued it on a rock which now i can't remove. Now that the frag has overgrown, i want to frag it. Can I frag it while in the tank? Is there any other way to frag it without removing the rocks and not harmful to the fish/corals?Thanks

That's how they are collected. Can't take the rock their on. Use a blade and scrape them off. I'd probably put some fresh carbon in a reactor first to wick up any paly toxin that gets released.
